Greetings to you as we introduce our new Deutschheim Verein web site. The Verein is proud to help support and promote the
Deutschheim State Historic Site, which captures the culture and heritage of the German people who migrated to Missouri
in the mid to late 19th century.
Take a tour of this beautiful historical campus and see the German architecture, period home interiors, tools, implements and garden plantings. This site is a reflection of Missouri's diverse culture and is a must see attraction during your visit to Hermann. Plus, we are easy to find by car or bike. We are just south of the new Missouri River bridge, which now gives Katy Trail bikers easy access to Hermann thanks to a protected bike lane during your river crossing.
